    Logistics Coordinator, Security


    Coordinates international security logistics of equipment, personnel, and materials in an effective and efficient manner complying with all laws and regulations for Lewis Energy Mexico (LEM) Operations.

    Responsabilidades


    • Ensures Mexico Operations, facility and people in Mexico are secure and protected.

    • Coordinates and is the liaison with local, state and federal forces to assure security in LEM Operations.

    • Manages day to day functions of the Security support team in Mexico.

    • Assists in investigations into thefts, personnel improprieties related to corporate functions and any other investigations as needed.

    • Assists Law Enforcement as needed on any internal case that develops into a criminal act.

    • Makes recommendations for cameras systems, access control and alarm systems.

    • Provides training to employees on the proper and most efficient operation security systems.    

    • Researches and develops new systems to meet the continuing changes in security technology.


     


    Supervisory Responsibilities:                                               


    Manages one subordinate supervisor who supervises a total of six employees in the Security. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Education and/or Experience                                                  


    One year certificate from college or technical school and minimum 15 years or equivalent combination of education and experience.


     


    Language Skills                                                              


    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.  Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.


     


    Mathematical Skills                                                     


    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


     


    Reasoning Ability                                                          


    Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.  Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases.  Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.


     


    Computer Skills                                                             


    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Suite.


     


    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations


    Visitors Visa, passport and Driver’s License


     


    Other Skills and Abilities            


    Law enforcement and or military experience preferred.


    Able to communicate with local, state and federal law enforcement and military units.


    Ability to rapidly move enforcement elements to area of threat.


    Able to coordinate emergency personnel to location(s) for extraction to medical facilities as needed.


    Ability to develop a threat assessment plan for Safety, Security and Emergencies.


    Knowledge/training in tactics, border enforcement, intelligence and security.


    Knowledge/experience in emergency rescue operations.


     


    Other Qualifications                                                    


    Must have operational management/leadership role experience.
